Worrying? Listen to Your Wisdom

The other morning, I woke up with a certain flavor of thoughts scooting through my mind. They were heading toward the worrying sort. 

They would have become self-defeating crunchy thoughts, if I wasn’t paying attention. I had a lot on my plate at the time. I bet you know exactly what I'm talking about.

I actually don't mind waking up with a checklist going through my mind. It doesn’t happen on most days. Yet, when it does, it indicates the most prevalent issues to which I can, and must, apply action.

It's up to me to get those metaphoric puppies off my plate. No one else is going to do it for me! Even if I’m going to delegate something, I need to show up and delegate it first.

If I don't take action, I'm simply adding worrisome, jacked-up kindling to my mind’s fire. Nope, not going there.

Worrying is downright uncomfortable. Useless. It’s a real drag on time; not to mention a buzzkill.  And Lordy don't you know it; those thoughts were heading that way.

We all experience this. We all have thoughts that if left unattended, could take you straight down the Mad Hatter’s rabbit hole.

Worried thoughts? If you sync with them, you can sink with them.

Not wanting to play in that mental playground, I leaned back in the rocking chair on my patio, and observed the 100 foot oak trees in my back yard. I breathed them in.

I purposefully switched my perceptual lens from the surface chatter of my mind, to the real world. The “energetic-physics-of-life” world.

Within the second that it took to shift my mind’s attention, the encroaching crazy-making thoughts were gone. Replaced by a sincere attention to the moment; observing through an intuitive lens, which syncs both the surface world with the world of the soul. My soul. Your soul. The tree’s, the bird’s, and the acorn-chasing squirrel’s souls. All energy and souls were on deck.

Ahhh, a much nicer way to view the world. It brings ease to sit in this space, rather than the single-minded landscape of needless mental suffering.

You have such power. Yet, the nature of life moves us to and from this broader holistic perception. Our job is to remember that we have the ability to sync or sink with thoughts- positive, negative, or neutral.

How do you use your mind? Where do you point your perceptive lens and abilities?

Your perception of what’s happening is always embedded within your power of choice, moment-to-moment.

When worry arises know that’s the shadow side of your imagination, messing with your mind. It will scramble your life if you believe its distorted impulsive voice over your own wise voice.

You do have control of your mind and your intuitive system.

The purpose of your intuitive system is to allow a complete, seamless, and integrative pathway through which information reaches your mind, regarding all aspects of your life — within time and space and outside of time and space. That is the physics of you!

Like the toggle switch on your smart phone, that adjusts the display’s brightness; use your intention to toggle your mind back to the present moment. Back from the darker side and into the brightness of what’s real. Even if it’s an uncomfortable situation.

It’s best to be present to the darkness with the power of your Light high-beamed on the issue.

This is where your power is. The power to connect to the reality of what is organically occurring for you in this moment.

It’s always a matter of choice-directed action to experience the deeper powers of your life.

So what's the secret? How do you guide yourself away from suffering and worry? You actually already know. But in the midst of suffering, we fall asleep. You know that too.

You breathe. Come back to the breath of your own life.

In doing so, you awaken for a nanosecond and realize that you can make another choice as to how you're guiding your mind. Instead of your mind guiding you … or running over you, as the case maybe.

You breathe. You enter the sanctum of your heart. From there you organically begin to hear your soul. Raw. At the ready. Willing to help you. Pause and listen.

You guide your life’s moments and the whole of your life by listening to your heart — the voice of your soul’s worldview. Which, in turn, is naturally integrated to the soul of the entire world(s).

Listen to your wisdom. It’s what’s real.
